One of the many great aspects of our partnership with Colours of the Alphabet is getting more detailed feedback about what we call different languages. We at Amara know that language matters, which is why we’ve recently updated the names of two languages on Amara based on feedback from native speakers from: Kinyarwanda, which is spoken in Rwanda, and Mooré, which is spoken in Burkina Faso.

Do you have language name updates for us? Please send them our way!

In the meantime you can learn some key phrases in Kinyarwanda and Mooré with the videos below!

A big thank you to the translators from Colours of the Alphabet who pointed these out to us.

Murabeho, nindaare and happy subtitling!
