Amara On Demand is seeking professional Transcriptionists and Translators. This is a paid position.
Applicants are required to:
- Be 18 years or older
- Have an account on Amara
- Complete sample subtitles using the Amara Editor
Applicants should have:
- Strong English skills
- Experience in captioning and subtitling audio / video content
- Experience transcribing text and spoken language
Strong applicants have:
- Volunteered as a Subtitler for an Amara community (like TED Talks, Udacity, or Net in Nederlands)
- Language certifications or education in translation
We accept applications for native speakers of any language. At this time we are actively hiring French, German, Hindi, Japanese and Korean translators.
