Update your embedded Amara videos by July 15th!

Posted on July 1, 2019July 18, 2022 By amarasubs No Comments on Update your embedded Amara videos by July 15th!

There’s an old version of the Amara video embedder that a small number of external websites still seem to be using. As we clean up our code so that we can develop faster, we’re going to stop supporting that old version (the widgetizer) on July 15th. Our more current embedder is more reliable, with a cleaner look and additional features compared to the old version, such as the interactive transcript viewer.

Amara embedder is displayed with interactive transcript
If you own one of the websites that uses the old widgetizer code, check out this support article to update to the current embed code so that your Amara videos keep displaying well on your site.
